The kids and the dragon

“It’s this way,” announced the boy to his sister, making his way among the bushes between the trees. “Are you sure of it, Eldwan?” She asked, following him with uncertain steps. “Yes, Sehert. See how the land is getting higher? It means we’re coming close to where the cave is.” “Eldwan, do you think it’s a good idea? I’m scared it will eat us…” “It can’t, remember? It signed a pact with all those who live in our village. If it hurts one of us, it will die.” He stopped one moment and lay a reassuring hand on the girl. “It’ll be alright. Don’t you want so see it?” “Yes…” she whispered. “Then let’s continue. We have to get back before sunset, or Mom and Dad will realize we’ve been out.” The two kids kept walking through the woods in silence, too absorbed into the anticipation of what they were going to meet. The friends that I made through dragons

The friends that I made through dragons are all so good, friendly and gentle but damn! To spend time with them I will have to wait for one to get close to my own home and bring me there with their wings. And in this human-ruled world it's awfully rare for dragons to fly among clouds in safety and awfully rare I meet my dragon and human friends, that those few times when it happens I sink them in hugs and gifts. A handful of days and love, then we shall rush to return to our mundane human lives to not get us searched by someone who'll find out dragons exist and put them in big, great danger. I'm so thankful for my dragons to take all these risks for us to spread some more love around, the same love they were denied.

Rambling about writing advice

Anyone that's ever wanted to try and write their own stories in the current day and age has probably looked up writing advice on the internet. It shouldn't come as a surprise that I was one of those people two years ago. And there's nothing to be ashamed of there, either. It's better to realize you're a beginner and that you don't know the first thing in the world about putting a story together than it is to write My Immortal. Obviously. So, we're at the very begin of the journey, so to speak: The start of a long road stretching ahead over sunlit plains, with clouds ominously casting shade upon a dark forest in the distance. It'll be nice and fun when you're first starting out, but you'll quickly realize that it's going to be a lot harder than it looks. Good thing that we have our trusty map at our side, right? If we just follow that, we'll surely be able to traverse the road with no issues whatsoever! ...Right? Here's the problem though: Our map is drawn entirely by hand, by one
